1. Services
Ivy Test Prep provides private tutoring, academic support, standardized test preparation, and educational counseling services. The specific services, package hours, fees, and applicable terms will be communicated to the customer at the time of purchase.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the specific services purchased by the customer and do not automatically govern separate services or future purchases.
2. Registration and Payment
Students or their parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate registration and contact information.
Payment must be made according to the terms communicated at the time of purchase. Any applicable fees or additional charges will be disclosed before payment is completed.
3. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Students or their parents/guardians must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled tutoring session.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed sessions without prior notice (no-shows), will generally be charged as a full session.
Exceptions may be considered at Ivy Test Prep’s discretion or where required by applicable law.
4. Refunds for Unused Tutoring Hours
Students or their parents/guardians may request a refund for prepaid tutoring hours that have not been used.
For example, if a student purchases an 8-hour package and uses 2 hours, the refund will cover the remaining 6 unused hours, subject only to deductions for payment processing costs that are permitted by applicable law and the payment processor’s terms. Any such deduction will be disclosed to the customer before purchase.
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 7 business days after Ivy Test Prep receives and verifies the refund request. The time required for funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method.
5. Student Satisfaction and Test Score Disclaimer
Ivy Test Prep provides tutoring, test preparation, and educational guidance services designed to help students strengthen their academic skills and improve their performance. However, Ivy Test Prep does not guarantee any specific test score, score increase, college admission, or other educational outcome.
Students or parents/guardians who are dissatisfied with a tutoring session must contact Ivy Test Prep before continuing with additional lessons. Fees for tutoring sessions already provided are non-refundable, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Student and Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Students are expected to participate in lessons, complete assigned work, and communicate appropriately with tutors and staff.
Parents/guardians are responsible for communicating relevant scheduling information, maintaining accurate contact details, and supporting their student’s participation in the program.
Ivy Test Prep may recommend adjustments to a student’s tutoring plan based on academic needs, progress, or scheduling considerations.
7. Online Tutoring and Technology
Online tutoring requires a suitable internet connection and access to the necessary device and software. Students and parents/guardians are responsible for maintaining their own equipment and internet access.
If a technical issue prevents a scheduled session from taking place, the parties should contact Ivy Test Prep to discuss an appropriate resolution.
8. Intellectual Property and Educational Materials
Tutoring materials, worksheets, practice questions, instructional documents, and other educational resources provided by Ivy Test Prep are intended for the student’s personal educational use unless otherwise authorized in writing.
Customers may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially use Ivy Test Prep’s proprietary materials without prior written permission.
9. Privacy and Communications
Ivy Test Prep handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Students and parents/guardians should review the Privacy Policy for information about the collection, use, and protection of personal information.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable New Jersey and federal law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to waive or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or limited.
