SSAT & ISEE Prep at Ivy
What is the SSAT?
The SSAT (Secondary School Admissions Test) is a standardized test used by admissions officers to assess the abilities of a student seeking to enroll in an independent school. Similarly, the ISEE serves the same purpose, except there are a few minor differences in the reading section.
There are three levels for both exams.
- Elementary Level – 4th – 5th grade
- Middle Level – 6th – 8th grade
- Upper Level – 9th grade and above
How do I prepare?
Like any other test, it is recommended to start early and develop a study plan to ensure the student’s individual goal is met by the deadline.
Step 1: Diagnostic Test
It’s important to know your current score to pre-determine the amount of tutoring needed for each subject (Math and Reading/Writing). After we assess strengths and weaknesses, we suggest a program for you, or we create a unique 1-1 tutoring program.
Step 2: Choose a Study Program
More customized programs available upon request.
Online, In-person, or Hybrid meetings available.
All SSAT & ISEE Programs include free study materials.
