How to Register for the SAT?

Registering for the SAT is a straightforward process. However, you will need to do hands-on :

  1. Create a College Board account:

This is your first and most important step in registering for the SAT and reporting your stats.

  2. Photo ID:

A valid photo ID must be registered and admitted on test day.

  3. Photo upload:

A clear photo is also important where your face will be clear and recognizable during registration. This will appear on your SAT admission ticket.

  4. Print your admission ticket:

Once you have registered, you must print your SAT admission ticket. Keep this ticket safe, as you will not be admitted into the test center without it.
