Batu came to Ivy Test Prep with a decent foundation on Math and Reading & Writing. His goal is to improve his overall score in time for the coming Fall 2021 College Applications.
The Challenge
Batu started our 1 -on- 1 Personalized SAT Program during the heart of fall and winter 2020. The pandemic was starting to peak again, and students were experiencing stress from school work and the overall pressure of the pandemic.
In addition, he is a fencing athlete at Durkan Fencing Academy in Garfield, N.J, a fencing academy known nation-wide for its’ prestige, several awards, and robust facility. As an athlete, naturally, he has a very busy schedule.
The Result
However, Batu remained focused on his goal and consistently showed up to his SAT classes online with his tutors at Ivy. With his persistance, dedication, and hard work he was able to increase his score by +200 points on the March 2021 SAT test!
Moving Forward
His goal is to continue with our 1 -on- 1 Personalized SAT Program and improve an additional +100 points for the upcoming official SAT date.
